Members of Executive Committee of REEV MED held its regular meeting in Barcelona on 24 of May 2022 .  Host of the meeting was the Veterinary Faculty of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. André-Laurent Parodi (1933-2022) Professor André Louis Parodi died on May 15, 2022. Professor of anatomy-pathology at the Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort, which was directed by him from 1992 to 1998, Professor Parodi had a brilliant career as a teacher-researcher, unanimously recognized by his peers in France and abroad. Always passionate about the transfer of knowledge to younger generations and convinced that education allows rapprochement despite differences, Professor Parodi has been very involved in international relations. Thus, he was the initiator of the creation of the Mediterranean network of veterinary education (REEV-Med) in 2012 with the OIE at his side to support him, from the first general assembly which devoted the creation of REEV-Med. 9th General Assembly (GA) of Association of Mediterranean Network of Establishments for Veterinary Education (REEV-Med) held on 3 June, 2021 at 14:00 – 16:30 (CET) via zoom meeting. 9th GA attended 37 participants (deans, vice deans, delegates, members, observers), representing 28 Veterinary educational establishments from 16 Mediterranean countries (France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, Albania, Serbia, Spain, Libya, Egypt, Algeria, North Macedonia, Greece) Main conclusions: GA adopted amendments to Statute of REEV-Med regulating:a. compositions of Executive Committee (EC) by 8 members for better geographical coverage and representations of Mediterranean countries,b. eligibility for election of members of ECc. on-line general assembly and electronic voting in extraordinary and necessary circumstances determined by the EC.After the voting of the amendments, 5 missing members of EC were elected anonymously and…

The 8th REEV-Med General Assembly was coupled with 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina) and held on 22 November 2019. The General Assembly was opened by the President, Prof. Nihad Fejzić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Honorary President of the REEV-Med Association, Professor André Laurent Parodi and Dr. Rachid Bougedour. This meeting gathered 14 Deans or representatives from the Veterinary Education Establishments based in the Mediterranean basin (Algeria, Turkey, Egypt, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia and Serbia).
